What We Need

Our inaugural program, SalesCamp, upskills and transitions professionals from industries like retail into B2B sales roles at some of the GTA’s fastest-growing tech companies. Our program provides hands-on learning, coaching, mentorship and a pathway to new and growing jobs in Canada’s digital economy.  We launched our first cohort in June 2019 and within the first week of completing the 1-week bootcamp 80% of SalesCamp participants had a job interview. We’re looking for a passionate and super organized program manager to join our team and lead the delivery of the second and third cohorts of SalesCamp. 

In this role, you will work closely with our hiring partners, participants, training partners, and other key stakeholders to build and execute future SalesCamp programs. Partners are the lifeblood of the Palette model and you’re the glue that will hold all of that together. You will also oversee all the operations related to SalesCamp and ensure all the boxes are checked. This includes managing timelines, recruiting employer partners, managing the logistics for employer networking events and guest speakers, and ensuring participants feel supported during the bootcamp and their job searching process.

  • You can work with different teams and partners, in this case, HR managers, sales leaders and program participants, to learn about their needs and envision program enhancements to help them solve their problems in innovative and valuable ways

  • You value creating an experience where the partners and stakeholders you work with feel confident, informed and efficiently supported. You actively identify issues and remove hurdles for the team before they disrupt the achievement of core goals

  • You are driven to deliver incredible customer service and have the organizational skills to be the main point of contact across all hiring, training and recruitment partners

  • You thrive when you’re juggling multiple balls at the same time and can pay attention to detail -- you take pride in producing high-quality deliverables and service

  • You have high emotional intelligence-- you are able to empathize and can create an environment in which people want to do their best while also being able to handle other people’s stress

  • You’re curious and are able to analyze and synthesize the outcomes, data and customer feedback and you have ideas on how to respond to the surprises and opportunities the data reveals

  • You’re adaptable and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to pitch in to get the job done - we’re a small team with ambitious goals and you will have to do things outside of this job description

  • You’re excited by the chance to lead the emerging field of upskilling and transitioning people across sectors

  • Your track record demonstrates a love for building strong relationships, getting stuff done and learning new things
