Upskill Canada is a national talent platform that helps fast-growing companies access the talent they need to succeed while creating new career pathways for workers.
It is pan-Canadian in scope, and supports Canadian-based employers, with a particular focus on small and medium enterprises in high-growth sectors including digital technology, cyber security, agricultural technology, advanced manufacturing, clean technology and biomanufacturing.
To launch upskilling programs in regions and sectors across the country, Upskill Canada will be distributing funding to qualified delivery partners to design and deliver employer-led upskilling programs from coast to coast.
The Automation and Digital Agriculture Specialist Program from Palette Skills is an accelerated 8-week intensive program that gets you up to speed with automation and digitization technologies in agricultural production and processing. We’re training workers ready to hit the ground, giving them the tools they need to identify, manage, and implement technological solutions across the agri-food value chain.

SalesCamp is an intensive real-world training and job development program that helps you find career success in tech sales using your transferrable and foundational skills. No previous experience in sales is necessary. We’ll connect you with sales leaders, career coaches and to an amazing group of SalesCamp alumni who currently work at fast-growing companies.

TORONTO, November 27, 2023 – Today, Upskill Canada is announcing the signing of a first wave of partnership agreements that are taking an industry-oriented approach to supporting Canadian workers. These agreements will help thousands of workers find new careers through skills training and job placement in some of the fastest-growing industries in Canada.

As announced today by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, Palette Skills is pleased to be named as a national delivery partner for Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s Upskilling for Industry Initiative, a $250 million investment that will support the development and implementation of short-cycle upskilling programs driven by industry needs in Canada’s highest-growth sectors.
