Palette Skills has commenced the search to identify up to two Board Directors, to actively guide and support the evolving growth strategy and the delivery of our mandate.
The Board’s role at Palette Skills is to provide the necessary oversight and due diligence in the business affairs of Palette Skills and to ensure that the necessary objectives are achieved with rigor and transparency. To date, Palette’s Board has guided the organization through operational start-up activities, transition planning and strategic planning and through the launch of Upskill Canada, the branch of our company that is delivering the Upskilling Industry Initiative (UII) for the Government of Canada.
As we continue to deliver the UII initiative for Canada and proceed with our own affairs, the Board will continue to place emphasis on strengthening the foundations for the governance of the organization, including monitoring the organization’s financial affairs, ensuring that the organization is meeting its agreements, and complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
It is important that the Palette Skills Board of Directors reflects the various communities Canada represents. This necessitates building and maintaining a Board that reflects a diversity of thought, lived experience, location, language, and functional expertise to oversee the governance of this national upskilling organization.

● Participate in Director orientation and development programs;
● Maintain an understanding of the regulatory, legislative, economic, social and political environments within which the organization will operate;
