These three years of experience must have been completed outside of full or part-time studies and can include volunteer work. Work experience does not have to be completed in Canada.

The Upskill Canada Skill Assessment uses FutureFit AI tech to analyze your skills based on work experience. You can then use the assessment to determine what transferable skills could apply to a new career path, and what training you need to reach your goals.

In less than 10 minutes you can:

  1. Create an account on the Upskill Canada Hub.
  2. Upload your resume or manually enter your work experience.
  3. Confirm the skills associated with your work experience.

Your profile on the Upskill Canada Hub is your career passport. This combination of your work experience and skills can be updated as you gain new skills or graduate from an Upskill Canada program. This will help employers find you.

Yes, absolutely! Please upload your resume and complete your career passport to access the job board.

As you explore programs, you will see a link for more information and to apply. Visiting this link will also allow you to contact the program provider directly.

Programs are recommended based on the skills required to help you close the skills gap and move forward on your chosen career path. Once you receive a recommendation, review the program, any eligibility criteria and apply.

The value of a connected ecosystem will be felt by job seekers who have an easier time finding program opportunities, by employers who know where to go to tap into needed talent, and by organizations, who will be able to connect with a network of like minded organizations looking for opportunities to collaborate and drive impact.

Jobs on the Hub job board are pulled in directly from employer websites, and all applications go directly to employers. We are not involved in the hiring process. If you have questions please reach out directly to the employer.
