TD renews support for SalesCamp, supporting mid-career workers to upskill into new and better jobs
TORONTO, ON – Palette Skills’ flagship SalesCamp program will receive a new infusion of funding totaling $639,365 from TD Bank Group (TD) over two years. This will bring the Bank’s total donation to Palette’s upskilling program to $1,039,365 over four years.
This continued support will enable 320 mid-career professionals across Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia to gain industry-vetted sales training and build strong professional networks—helping them transition into high-demand roles in Canada’s evolving economy. With a strong focus on inclusion, SalesCamp prioritizes access for underrepresented groups, including women, Indigenous peoples, newcomers, and Canadians living in rural communities.
Delivered virtually over an intensive six-week period, SalesCamp immerses participants in real-world scenarios, employer-led workshops, and personalized mentorship. The program’s accelerated timeline is designed to quickly build participants’ confidence, sales acumen, and job readiness while equipping them for long-term success in dynamic business environments.
“We are so thankful for this renewed support, which will allow more workers to access our comprehensive B2B sales program, supporting them in transitioning to this growing sector,” said Ann Buller, Interim CEO of Palette Skills. “This funding will allow us to expand SalesCamp and widen its impact across Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC, supporting families and communities across Canada.”
“Through the TD Ready Commitment, we’re proud to continue supporting Palette Skills’ SalesCamp program focused on providing upskilling programs to help create new career paths for untapped, diverse talent. By investing in these initiatives, our hope is that participants will gain the skills necessary to improve confidence in their career and subsequently in their financial stability,” said Robyn Small, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Sustainability & Corporate Citizenship, TD Bank Group.
By working directly with employers to understand real-time skills needs, SalesCamp remains aligned with industry demands. This employer-informed approach ensures businesses can access the talent they need to grow and innovate, while helping to address labour shortages and contribute to long-term economic development.
In addition to this grant, Palette will be working closely with TD to provide their employees the opportunity to volunteer their time in support of SalesCamp participants.
