Leadership Update: Ann Buller Appointed Interim CEO of Palette Skills

The Board of Directors of Palette Skills is pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Buller as Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective January 6, 2025.

This transition follows the departure of Rhonda Barnet, who has stepped down as CEO for personal reasons. Rhonda played a pivotal role in spearheading the launch of Upskill Canada as Palette Skills was chosen by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) to deliver the Upskilling for Industry Initiative. We extend our deepest gratitude to Rhonda for her leadership and invaluable contributions to Palette’s mission.

Ann Buller brings extensive leadership experience to this role. A dedicated member of the Palette Skills Board since 2022, Ann has consistently demonstrated her commitment to advancing our mission. She is President Emeritus of Centennial College, where she served as President for 15 years, fostering a culture of learning rooted in diversity and inclusion. Ann’s dedication to social justice and equity earned her the prestigious Order of Canada in 2022.

Ann will guide the organization through this interim period, maintaining focus on our strategic priorities until a new Chief Executive Officer is appointed to advance Palette Skills’ long-term goals.
